Topics relevant to Brain Banking
This file contains a bibliography of publications related to non-transplant tissue banking, in particular tissue of the nervous system i.e. brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves (including cerebrospinal fluid, meninges, CNS tumors etc). The publications include those that are directly relevant to brain banking (meant as procurement, dissection, storage, and distribution of tissues) and others that provide information regarding diagnosis of commonly banked tissues (i.e. Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease) regarding ethical and legal aspects of autopsies and tissue banking, and the hazards of banking of infectious and potentially infectious tissue.
This listing is far from complete and new items are constantly added. If you know of any references that could be listed here, please send us the information and we will update the bibliography.
