Welcome to the home page of the International Brain Banking Network, or IBBN, a network of banks and procurement centers which collect, store, and distribute brain tissue for research throughout the world.

            The mission of the International Brain Banking Network is to facilitate communication among brain banks. The goal is to improve the acquisition and distribution of quality neurological specimens to qualified neuroscientists from anywhere in the world. The purpose is to further research directed towards the diagnosis and treatment of persons with neurological disorders and to improve the quality of their lives.
